Land Registry Services and Court Closure Dates

As the year comes to a close in what was a transformative year, we would like to advise you of the Land Registry Services and Court closure dates in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

| Gold Coast City Council (Planning and Development Certificates) | Council is advising current delays in the processing of all standard and full planning and development certificates (PDC). This extends to any standard and full PDC requests made in the lead up to the Christmas and New Year period. They are unable to issue any standard or full PDC within the statutory timeframe due to the high number of PDC’s both in progress and to be commenced. Council will endeavor to provide the Certificate as soon as it is reasonably practical. Officers can provide progress via email if this is requested. All PDC’s are issued in physical form via registered post / courier direct to the applicant. If you would like the completed certificate package to be provided directly to your client, please provide written authority via email. Unfortunately due to current workload constraints, any new Standard or Full Planning and Development Certificate request made from today (15 December 2020), will not be commenced until the start of the new year being mid-January 2021. | |

Applications received after 11:00 AM on Thursday, 17 December 2020 may not be able to be completed and emailed to your office until after Monday, 4 January 2021. | |

| National Parks and Wildlife Service | The last day for receiving NPWS Interest searches for this year will be C.O.B on Wednesday the 23rd of December. Searches will resume on Wednesday the 6th of January, 2021. | |
