Brisbane-based company, GlobalX Legal Solutions, has received national recognition for innovation by driving an industry-wide move to electronic conveyancing from its CBD headquarters.
GlobalX Legal Solutions a market leading provider of integrated and innovative online information and workflow solutions that advance productivity and effectiveness for legal and conveyancing practitioners across Australia was today recognised as an ABA100 Winner for Innovation in The Australian Business Awards 2015.
Chief Executive Officer Peter Maloney said “the award is terrific recognition for each and every member of the GlobalX team, our team has a real hunger for designing and delivering product innovation and this award recognizes the team’s success in positioning GlobalX as an industry leader in the move to online property settlements.
“The Australian Business Awards is associated with well-managed, high-performing industry-leading initiatives, so it is an absolute honour to have GlobalX Legal Solutions selected as a winner of the Innovation Award for our work in the electronic conveyancing space,” Mr Maloney said.
“Our work with Property Exchange Australia and the PEXA platform will revolutionise the way the property industry operates by bringing the process online, making it easier and more accurate for lawyers, settlement agents and home owners.”
Mr Maloney said GlobalX had invested over 7,200 people-hours in product research and development to prepare products and legal practitioners for disruptive change represented by the introduction of PEXA, and to ensure the success of electronic conveyancing in Australia.
“The knock-on effect of our work will not only future-proof our client’s business and maximise the availability of PEXA to market, but it will revolutionise the property industry and make the purchasing process a much less stressful event for the home-buyer.
With more than 230 staff nationally, we have grown rapidly over the past three year, largely on the back of product innovation, our approach to partnering and making investments in new world spaces such as electronic conveyancing.” he said
Remaining innovative has enabled GlobalX to maintain growth over 20 years in a traditionally mature market. Recent examples include the company’s investment in practice management software, data integration solutions, electronic conveyancing and mobility solutions for lawyers, demonstrating GlobalX’s commitment to supporting the industry through a disruptive phase.
“After more than 20 years in the industry, it is important that we maintain our position as a source of industry experience and innovation for lawyers and conveyancers,” Mr Maloney said.
Australian Business Awards’ Program Director Tara Johnston said the awards, now in their tenth year, focused on organisations that prioritise innovation and technology as they continue to drive local and international markets.
“The ABA100 Winners have demonstrated innovative, enterprising and technologically advanced business initiatives and products that support an obvious transformation coinciding with the ever-changing, highly competitive business environment,” Mr Johnston said.
