GlobalX named finalist in Telstra Business Awards

Legal and conveyancing technology company GlobalX has been named a finalist in one of the country’s most prestigious annual business awards.

The Telstra Business Awards, which celebrate the achievements and entrepreneurial spirit of Australia’s most inspiring small and medium businesses, has named GlobalX a finalist in its Medium Business category.

GlobalX CEO Peter Maloney welcomed the news and said it was terrific recognition for the hard work of the entire GlobalX team.

GlobalX CEO Peter Maloney congratulates staff on being named a finalist in the prestigious Telstra Business Awards.

“At GlobalX, our people are passionate about researching, designing and delivering the best in product innovations to drive real efficiencies for business owners,” Mr Maloney said.

“The Telstra Business Awards recognise high calibre, well-managed, and top-performing businesses, so it’s an honour to be named as a finalist for our work in delivering intuitive technology and trusted services to Australia’s legal and conveyancing communities.”

“Our most recent success was creating free conveyancing software, Matter Centre, which is helping to revolutionise the way the property industry operates by delivering a truly scalable, cost effective and integrated workflow management solution.

“GlobalX’s Matter Centre has seamless integration to electronic conveyancing platform PEXA – making it easier and more accurate for lawyers, settlement agents and home owners to transact property.

“With more than 250 staff nationally, GlobalX has grown rapidly over the past five years, largely on the back of product innovation, our approach to partnering and making investments in new world spaces – such as Matter Centre and electronic conveyancing.”

Telstra Business Executive Director, Brendan Donohoe, said this year’s finalists were demonstrating what it takes to become ‘that’ business – a leader in their field, a name that is trusted and admired and being an organisation that inspires others.

“This year, we are delighted to be celebrating 25 years of the Telstra Business Awards and all that Australian businesses and charities contribute to our economy and way of life. They inspire us with their relentless pursuit of finding new and better ways to do things through their resilience, the courage to take risks and an incredible talent and commitment.”
