Victorian legal professionals will now have access to the latest property due diligence via one succinct report, thanks to a new partnership between legal technology provider GlobalX and property startup Landchecker.
The new property report is accessible via GlobalX’s suite of award-winning online and software solutions.
GlobalX CEO Peter Maloney said legal professionals have to keep up with the demand from their clients to provide detailed and specific information relevant to Victorian properties.
“This tool is a new way to streamline the due diligence process and make it easier for legal practitioners and buyers to undertake the necessary property checks before purchasing,” Mr Maloney said.
“The report provides a snapshot of crucial property information, including current and proposed council planning, elevation contouring, flood mapping, local school information and lot dimensions.
“With so many Victorians looking to build, renovate and buy property, it’s important for buyers to be fully aware of the history, zoning, restrictions and specifics of a site.
“Landchecker Premium Property Report allows practitioners and their clients to conduct due diligence on properties so there are no surprises down the track when it comes to building or buying,” Mr Maloney said.
Landchecker co-founder and CEO Will Leaf said the report provided important property information including planning and heritage overlays in a smart and easy-to-read format.
“The integration of this report for GlobalX clients means that legal practitioners can add on the report during the conveyancing process to share and discuss what it means for the property buyer in the transaction,” Mr Leaf said.
“This new partnership with GlobalX ensures property buyers and their legal representatives have the most up-to-date and relevant information.
“Landchecker Premium Property Report is a great way for GlobalX users to conduct due diligence on behalf of their clients.
“By integrating with the GlobalX platform, practitioners will save considerable time and access reports faster than ever.”
The Landchecker report is available through GlobalX’s online and software solutions, including Matter Centre for all Victorian properties.
