South Australian conveyancers and property lawyers now have direct access to Land Services SA title information, thanks to an industry-first integration between GlobalX and the Conveyancing and Trust Accounts System (CATS).
Users of South Australia’s most widely used conveyancing software, CATS, now have the ability to instantly search, order and retrieve Register Searches and Title Details in seconds directly from within the CATS file.
GlobalX CEO Peter Maloney said the integration is the first of the kind for conveyancers, providing time saving efficiency for practitioners across South Australia.
“The synergy between GlobalX and CATS offers users the ability to order Register Searches and access Title Details instantly from within the file, with all costs carried across for seamless billing,” Mr Maloney said.
“This type of integration with CATS has never been done before in our industry, and GlobalX is excited to be leading the way in developing more opportunities for professionals in the property and legal sectors.”
The founder of CATS, Nick Xenides, said South Australian practitioners who use this software will have the opportunity to further enhance their productivity.
“We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and provide greater efficiencies to our clients and integrating Land Services SA information is one example of how we’re achieving this,” Mr Xenides said.
“GlobalX offers a comprehensive range of land and property information, so to secure this resource for CATS clients was a major achievement.”
“By working with GlobalX and Land Services SA, we have been able to connect and modernise the industry in a way South Australian practitioners have never experienced before.”
Land Services SA CEO Brenton Pike said the integration was yet another example of how the conveyancing industry is being shaped by technological advances.
“Digitisation is a major trend impacting the sector and is changing the way practitioners complete daily tasks,” Mr Pike said.
“The integration between GlobalX and CATS will ensure positive change for South Australian practitioners as they move towards streamlining solutions.”
