GlobalX has partnered with leading industry publication Lawyers Weekly as a Gold Sponsor of the 2019 Australian Law Awards.
The Australian Law Awards are the top national awards for Australia’s legal professionals, and more than 900 high-achieving members of the industry attended the annual ceremony on August 9, 2019.
GlobalX sponsored three major awards: Property Team of the Year, Rising Star of the Year and Transaction Team of the Year.
GlobalX CEO Peter Maloney said that GlobalX was proud to be a sponsor of the awards, which recognise excellence and achievements within the profession.
“The legal industry attracts talented individuals from around Australia, and the professionals recognised on the night ranged from junior lawyers to managing partners, all of whom we are eager to support,” Mr Maloney said.

Property Team of the Year was awarded to Colin Biggers & Paisley, Rising Star of the Year was awarded to Blake Connell of Herbert Smith Freehills and Transaction Team of the Year was awarded to the M&A Team of Herbert Smith Freehills. All three awards were sponsored by GlobalX.
The Australian Law Awards are in their 19th year and are considered the legal industry’s event of the year.
