GlobalX recognised for leading industry innovation with three ABA100 awards

Legal technology expert GlobalX has today been named the winner of three awards at the 2019 Australian Business Awards 100 (ABA100), cementing the organisation’s position as an industry leader in business, innovation and technology.

The prestigious event saw GlobalX crowned the ABA100 2019 winner in the Digital Innovation category for its IDSecure product, while Matter Centre Projects won the New Product Innovation and Software Innovation categories. It is the second year running that the tech company has won the Digital Innovation category, and the third year that it has won all categories entered in.

GlobalX CEO Peter Maloney said the awards recognised the significant investment that GlobalX has made over the last 5 years to develop its products based on knowing that the age of digital information is a reality.

“At the centre of our product development is our clients and their desire to automate workflow to the benefit of the consumer of legal services,” Mr Maloney said.

“We are completely focussed on digitalising the legal and conveyancing experience, so that we can continue our remarkable growth story, and be an effective competitor to win the customer in the ever-evolving legal landscape.

“The legal and conveyancing sector is an incredibly exciting sector to operate in, and we are committed to continuing to develop our products to meet the needs of our clients.”

Mr Maloney credited the win to the talented team at GlobalX, who operate in offices across Australia, China and the UK.

“I can confidently say, GlobalX employs the best technology and customer experience people in our industry. We are a high energy team at GlobalX, and all of our 243 team members have played a pivotal part in these accolades.

“It’s a privilege to lead the GlobalX Team, and I’m excited to say there are several exciting projects ahead that will see us continuing to innovate and develop solutions that enable legal and conveyancing professionals to work more efficiently and effectively.”

Program Director of the Australian Business Awards, Tara Johnston, said the awards reflect the organisation’s mission of promoting the development of Australia’s innovation culture and technological capability.

“Innovation is vital for every company, but it’s even more important for business growth and expansion,” Ms Johnston said.

“You need new, unique ideas, and the ability to bring them to market before the competition.

“The World Business Awards Framework (WBA Framework) is utilised as a structured model of assessment that enables the participating organisations to be benchmarked against world class performance standards.

“Each year the ABA100 Winners are recognised for their innovative initiatives, products and services, which are leading business and digital transformation within the Australian marketplace.”
