Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) has today announced leading Australian legal and property technology provider GlobalX as the official Principal Partner for the 2018 ALPMA Summit.

Set to be hosted in Sydney this September, the annual 3-day professional development event welcomes hundreds of legal practice professionals from across Australia and the Pacific.

GlobalX CEO Peter Maloney said the partnership with ALPMA represented a continued commitment to supporting Australia’s peak industry associations and their members.

“We are thrilled to have been invited to partner with ALPMA to host the southern hemisphere’s largest legal practice management conference,” Mr Maloney said.

“As one of the longest-standing partners of ALPMA, GlobalX is proud to continue our support on a national level and as the ALPMA Summit principal partner for the next 2 years.”

“With leading practice management software Open Practice, cloud conveyancing workflow Matter Centre and intelligent legal search platform GlobalX Search, we have a responsibility to ensure legal and conveyancing professionals across the nation are kept abreast of the latest technological advancements,” Mr Maloney said.

Along with exclusive naming rights, GlobalX will have the largest trade exhibition area to showcase their award-winning suite of legal technologies and support services.

ALPMA President Dion Cusack said the ALPMA Summit was the largest legal management conference in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting over 300 legal management professionals from Australia and New Zealand each year.

“We are excited to welcome industry leader GlobalX as our principal partner for the 2018 Summit,” Mr Cusack said.

“From 19-21 September ALPMA Summit attendees will receive three days of professional development, including workshops, seminars and the opportunity to network, discussing the latest industry trends and topics affecting the legal sector.”

The 2018 ALPMA Summit will take place at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, from 19-21 September.
